One Way Or Another... Blondie will be at Eden
TICKETS ON SALE: For Blondie at Eden

NEXT month new-wave icons Blondie will be returning to Cornwall eighteen years after their last gig to play at the Eden Sessions.

The band last performed in Cornwall in 1999 at the Cornwall Coliseum, but will be coming back to the county on Friday, June 23 when they will play one of only two shows in the UK this summer.

Known for songs such as Heart of Glass, Atomic, The Tide is High and Maria, Blondie have sold more than 40 million albums and picked up a slew of top awards, including last year’s Q Inspiration Award and the NME Godlike Genius Award in 2014.

In 2006, Blondie were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

They are one of only two American acts to have singles at the top of the UK charts in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s - the other being Michael Jackson.

From the release of 1978’s Plastic Letters to 1999’s No Exit, Blondie had six consecutive top-ten albums in the UK.

They have now released their 11th studio album Pollinator, which features a track written by Sia and Nick Valensi of The Strokes, Charlie XCX and Johnny Marr, as well as material written by founder members Debbie Harry and Chris Stein. Tickets went on general release at 5.30pm on Wednesday and will be available online via the Sessions website.
