Blazey back on top
ONCE again St Blazey allowed their vistors the luxury of a two goal lead, just as they did against Wadebridge recently. The first 30 minutes saw both clubs feeling them selves out in very blustery conditions.
With the heavy ground underfoot, this wasn’t the day for pretty football.
However, things changed in the 36th minute when the visitors opened their account via a Joe Truelove drive from 12 yards.
After the break, the visitors took just two minutes to double their lead and shock the Blaise Park faithful. Bridger’s skipper Justin Crowley looped a curling shot over the head of Blazey ‘keeper Tom Blackler.
Instead of dropping their heads, the home team upped the tempo and began the fightback.
