ST AUSTELL striker Liam Eddy looks set to miss the rest of the season after a nasty knee injury sustained in the club’s Boxing Day derby against Sticker.

Eddy has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury which is likely to keep him out of action for at least the rest of the season.

With eight minutes remaining Eddy went in with a challenge on Sticker goalkeeper Jamie Blatchford but came off worst in the tackle and after being seen to by St Austell physio Lauren Lyndon-Hill and Sticker’s Bill Avery he was helped off the pitch in the final ten minutes, to be replaced by Liam Dingle...
