The Western Inn veterans exacted revenge for this seasons home defeat with an emphatic 3-0 away win against St Dennis.
Cornwall fire service launches their ELFS initiative at the Eden Project. Designed to teach youngsters the fundamentals of fire awareness and to educate them from nursery school age. Joining the tots was Cornwall"s very own Fireman Sam, Chief fire officer Des Tidbury.

St Austell fire station hosted a special passing out ceremony as children excluded from local schools were given a chance to show that they have the right stuff to become a fire fighter. VIP"s included Cornwall"s Chief Fire Officer Des Tidbury, The High Sheriff of Cornwall as well as St Austell Mayor Bryan Palmer.
The Western Inn played host to a very special Karaoke event as presenters from Radio St Austell Bay dressed as their favourite 1980"s pop stars to raise money for Tregorrick Park groundsman Mike Morton. Following his wife"s breast cancer recently, Mr Morton has himself fell victim to lung cancer. The event raised more than £300.
Children from across the area puffed, panted and sweated their way around the sweltering Tropical Biome at Eden. The one mile fun run was to raise funds for earthquake stricken Haiti.
St Austell Dad Rodney Pearce prepares a host of donated celebrity memorabilia to auction for funds to aid infant cancer sufferers. On hand with the Gavel is Mr Hurricane himself, former TV weatherman Michael Fish.
Children from St Blazey enjoyed a torchlight parade to celebrate their winter Feast Week. Amongst guests was Bishop Tim of Truro.
Following a public rift involving St Blazey"s new signing Sam Cooper from rivals Penzance, former Blazey boss Trevor Mewton returned to Blaise Park to face off against a team managed by his protege Glyn Hooper. The occasion however, got to the home side as the visitors won by a comfortable 3-0, despite having a man sent off.
