DIRECTOR of rugby Steve Murley praised his team’s professionalism after they swept Burnham-on-sea aside 46-0 at Tregorrick Park on Saturday, writes Gareth Davies.

Despite the visitors going into the game yet to register a victory this season and Saints in the midst of a fine winning run, poor playing conditions which included a gale-force wind and torrential rain could have made for a much tighter game than many expected.

At full-time however, the majority of the strong crowd of over 400 left with their pre-match predictions of a seventh straight win fully justified, although Murley felt his side did well to treat this latest encounter as just another game and ignore any early league standings...
